When I’m informed my father’s dead, I head back to my hometown to attend the funeral and get rid of my childhood home of horrors. I expect the demons I ran from twelve years ago to come back to haunt me—demons that are not just related to the man who’s being put in his grave, but to a man who was buried twelve years ago.
Then I start unravelling a net of lies, and it’s like the rug’s been pulled out from under me. Because it can’t really be true… can it?
