A Merry Protective Christmas
I have to come out to them.
It’s Christmas and I’ve struggled all year to come out to my family. The words stick in my throat whenever I try so they still have no idea I’m gay and in a relationship.
But then Oliver’s mother ruins their Christmas and on a whim I tell him he can come celebrate with me… and now I really have to tell them all. Because Oliver and I are not going to get through Christmas acting as if we’re only friends.
